Silence
Oil Paint on Canvas
16 x 12
Japanese proverb “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” is my inspiration for this painting. The wax figure has it’s eyes, ears and mouth covered as it directly faces the viewer in a bold composition. I added the word “silence” to punctuate the idea that silence is somber, lonely, stagnant and is never the answer. Speak up and be heard.
