My work moves between bold color and quiet line, uniting the tactile presence of the Wax Figure series, layered experimentation of the Mixed Media Prints, intimate vulnerability of the Pregnancy series, and stark immediacy of the Charcoal Drawings. The Wax Figures occupy a liminal space between object and person—textured, sculptural portraits that read as both playful and uncanny; the Mixed Media Prints build luminous fields of collage, paint, and printed text where thought bubbles, word bubbles and minimal figures converse across surfaces; the Pregnancy series distills expectation and resilience into pared-back compositions that celebrate the body’s strength and tenderness; and the Charcoal Drawings return to gesture and shadow, pared to essentials so that expression, posture, and the negative space around them carry the statement. Across these bodies of work, color, minimalism, and typographic elements combine to create contemporary visual statements about identity, communication, and the human condition.
