Here is a compilation of how I did the underpainting for my current work in progress. The video might be a little dark...I was more focused on the painting instead of the camera angle! Oops!! It is still a great illustration, though, of how I use tonal values in my process at this stage. Getting started this way is one of my favorite steps!
