In Look (Out), A wax figure joyously frolics along a path heading towards a house. The inside of the house represents color, identity, expression, inclusiveness, love, fun, creativity, happiness, warmth etc… It is a bright, sunshiny day. There is a very strong shadow that’s being cast over the path, barely touching the wax figure, symbolizing that darkness may be looming outside. The hole blocking their way? Open for interpretation. What does it symbolize to you? Will they fall through, side step it lightly or fiercely jump right over it as if to say “F-you. I’m going to continue on my merry way anyway.”
